Sometimes, all we need is someone who would listen.
No advice.
No judgements.
Just.
Listen.
In this short span of life I have lived
till now (hopefully many more to go!) I have realized that when you talk about any problem that has been bothering you for long, you get a bigger, clearer picture of the whole issue and you suddenly find an inkling of the solution creeping in. Just an inkling, mind you. But if you set your thoughts on it persistently, before long you will find the answer staring you in the face.
This process doesn't make you weak or dependent. I have noticed that the idea of dependency or weakness is a fallacy amongst the folks. I believe there is nothing shameful or embarrassing in asking people for help. Mortals are "programmed" to share emotions, thoughts and feelings. When a proper balance is maintained between keeping matters to yourself and letting it out, you will find lasting peace and concord. If either of the scale tips over, then the result starts out as a small chaos which eventually becomes wild and uncontrollable. Broken relationships.
Damaged connections.
Depression.
Loneliness.
All start out with this imbalance.
So all I'm trying to say is: TALK. Find a person who resonates with you, your thoughts and your ideals. Find that person and talk. Otherwise, one day all those mini explosions which you had managed to conceal (quite successfully) till now will cause a massive explosion. So bad that nobody would be able to pull you out of the rubble. Not even your own self.
